Twin Beats

Anime: Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door

Music: m.u.t.e. - "Missed Beat (Hiver & Hammer Instrumental Mix)"

This was an on again-off again video that I finally brought myself to make because I wanted something special for my best friend. It's really about Vincent and Spike, and so the whole thing is pure symbolism, even the stuff that looks like poor editing and whatnot. Oh, and the only reason I made the video is for the bit at about 2:20. I don't care if you hate the rest of the video, but you'd better love that part.

Olde Time Vash

Anime: Trigun

Music: Curb Your Enthusiasm - "Frolic"

I had this one floating in my head for a while, but never got around to it until one night, when I literally had nothing else to do besides this. It was done by nine the next morning. Anyway, it has an odd concept behind it, revolving around the song of choice. The song is the theme from HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is to Seinfeld as Family Guy is to the Simpsons. The song takes on something of an old time silent movie mood, which I thought I could use to my advantage as just that- an old silent movie. Hence, I intentionally killed the audio quality, and made the Trigun footage black and white, along with scratches, dust, hairs, etc. I even took the liberty of adding little caption cards. It's basically a video of how goofy Vash can be.

Due to some odd issues, there is no XviD file; instead, there is an MPEG-2 file.

High School Hell

Anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion
Love Hina

Music: Sneaky G - "High School Sucks"

Sneaky G is a very local band, hardly a year old. Whilst at my second Sneaky G concert, I heard High School Sucks, and later realized how well it would work with Eva, and eventually Love Hina. By the time I figured this out, I had a good idea in my head and a week to work on it. I think it turned out pretty well, considering.

Liberi Gundanium

Anime: Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz

Music: Nobuo Uematsu - "Liberi Fatali"

Probably one of my favorite AMVs thus far (considering I haven't made many...), this little guy was my first action video. It was also my first one without a deadline so to speak, so I gave it that much more effort. I'm fairly proud of it. It has the brilliant opening from Final Fantasy VIII to Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.

I Miss Stephie v2.0

Anime: Love Hina

Music: Incubus - "I Miss You"

A romance video featuring Love Hina and Incubus's "I Miss You", this was an anniversary present for my girlfriend Steph. I learned many much things about Premiere whilst making this, many of which you can see in my later videos (e.g. the little "windows"). Certainly not my best, but pretty nice nonetheless.

For those interested in the horrendous v1.0, ask me personally.

Obligatory DBZ AMV

Anime: Dragonball Z

Music: Conker's Bad Fur Day - "Pooland"

Born of boredom a week or so after Christmas 2002, this is basically my first AMV. I knew I would soon pursue a career in AMVs, lacking the computer to do so, and knowing of the DBZ curse, I used a crappy older computer, bits of DBZ footage I had, and a four second clip from "Pooland", threw them all together with TMPGEnc, and ended up with this atrocity of an AMV. Do not enjoy.

MPEG-1 file only.
